Will I get a guarantee with the item?

We will ensure that the item is checked and in full working condition when leaving our premises  (unless otherwise stated).  Warranty terms (if any) will be listed on a per item basis and will be outlined in the product description.

 

How long will it take to get my order?

Some of the items in our store need to be cleaned and thoroughly tested before leaving us.  In some cases this process can take a little longer than buying a new item from stock.  Once cleaned and checked, the items will be sent on a UK based next day courier service.  The time of arrival cannot be guaranteed with the standard next day tariff.  Should you need your item by a designated time, please contact us for special delivery pricing.

 

Do I need to have my item calibrated regularly?

It is highly recommended to have your device checked and calibrated at the recommended service intervals.  This will ensure that your device is within the manufactures functional specifications and is working correctly.

 

Can I buy an item if I live outside of the mainland UK?

Yes. Standard shipping charges refer to the UK mainland only.  Delivery prices will usually differ for Northern Ireland, the far Higlands and offshore UK destinations.  If you reside outside the UK mainland, please contact us for a shipping quotation.  Shipping to mainland UK is FREE on all orders over £150 ex VAT.  Otherwise £4.95 +VAT will apply.

 

Do I have to pay tax if I live outside of the EU?

If your delivery address is outside of the EU then UK/EU based sales tax will not apply.  Should your item be shipped within the EU the tax will apply.

 

If I live outside of the UK can I pay by credit card?

Unfortunately we do not currently have a facility to accept overseas credit cards.  The accepted payment method from overseas customers is by electronic bank transfer.  Details of which will be sent to the customer when needed.

 

Are the images of the actual items for sale?

In some cases yes.  For certain items it is just not viable to put the actual product image on the listing and a generic item picture will be used.  This is usually the case when more of one item type are availble for sale.  If you want to have a true image of the item you are buying, we are more than happy to send you one along with the item serial number if required.
